2 more drugs were included in the scope of reimbursement

"Communiqué on Amendments to the Social Security Institution Health Implementation Communiqué" was published in the Official Gazette.

Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Labor and Social Security, stated in his post on his NSosyal account that they continue to work for citizens with the understanding of effective, sustainable and accessible health care.

Reminding that the new regulations made in the Health Implementation Communiqué (SUT) through the Social Security Institution were published in the Official Gazette, Işıkhan said:

"We have included within the scope of reimbursement surgical procedures performed with advanced technology for newborn and pediatric patients, one drug to be used in the treatment of early stage breast cancer, and one drug used in the treatment of a rare disease involving the involvement of the optic nerve. We have also implemented regulations that will ensure the uninterrupted progress of vital organ preservation protocols for our patients waiting for organ transplantation. I wish a speedy recovery to our patients and wish them well."
