74 percent discount on cash payment for permanent residences in earthquake zones

In his statement on social media, Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi stated that significant payment facilities were provided to eligible citizens for disaster residences and workplaces in the provinces affected by the February 6 earthquakes.

In this context, Çiftçi gave the good news to eligible citizens about the loan process that, with the decision of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, there will be a discount on cash payments valid until December 31, 2026.

Discounts are applied at 74 percent in residences and 48 percent in workplaces. For installment payments, citizens are offered the opportunity to pay with an 18-year maturity, with a grace period of 2 years from the date of delivery of the house.

Emphasizing that it is more valuable than anything for a family to live in peace in their home, for a tradesman to continue earning with his hard work and to look to the future with confidence, Çiftçi said, "In our understanding of the state, it is essential to worry about the problems of our citizens, ease their burden and be there for them whenever they need it. As our Ministry of Internal Affairs and AFAD Presidency, we will continue to work for the peace, security and welfare of our nation. I hope that these facilities provided will be beneficial to all our rightful brothers and sisters." he said.
