Emphasis on 'Turkish World 2040 vision' from Director of Communications Duran

Pointing out that the Turks have established a vision of civilization by establishing 16 empires and hundreds of states on three continents throughout history, Duran said:

"The Organization of Turkic States is also the broadest example of our historical organizational ability. In the process extending from the first Meeting of Heads of State of Turkic Speaking Countries held in Ankara in 1992, our joint efforts have turned into an institutional structure under the umbrella of the Organization of Turkic States. Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey has been and will continue to be a part of the common march of the Turkic world from the beginning. We work in line with the Turkic World 2040 vision "While improving our unity, we must also strengthen our common language, memory and communication capacity. In particular, feeding artificial intelligence models with qualified content produced in our own language and resources is of strategic importance in shaping the narrative of the Turkish world with our own voice and values."

Duran stated that fighting disinformation in the digital age is among their common responsibilities and said:

"We must turn fact-checking activities against disinformation attempts against the Turkish world into a common reflex rather than an individual duty of institutions. Responding to disinformation emerging in Bishkek at the same speed from Baku, Tashkent, Astana and Ankara should be one of the main goals of our cooperation in this field. Developing our common media ecosystem with joint films, TV series and documentaries will also contribute to telling our own story together. With these feelings and thoughts, we open our forum I would like to thank our Vice President, Mr. Dr. Cevdet Yılmaz, for his hospitality, our valuable guests who came from all over the Turkish world, all the participants who contributed and everyone who contributed, and I hope that the relations established here will be the beginning of regular consultation mechanisms.
