Martyr Infantry Contracted Private Yusuf Sait Ünlü was sent off on his last journey

Turkish flags were hung at the martyr's father's house and on the street in Altınova District.

District Governor Ali Erdoğan and his entourage delivered the sad news to the martyr's mother Öznur and father Latif Ünlü.

Latif Ünlü stated to the journalists that he gladly sent his son to the mission and said:

"May God grant him peace and make him a neighbor to our Prophet. This year was his fourth year. He had only one month left, he was counting the days. He would be here in the first week of December, my son. He would go to the training unit after December. He asked for his appointment. We were going to have a wedding in December, and a wedding in April. All is left to judgment."

A funeral prayer was performed in the neighborhood square for Ünlü, who was brought to Çine district by air.

The martyr's mother, Öznur Ünlü, hugged the coffin and shed tears.

After receiving forgiveness from his father's house, Ünlü's body was buried in the neighborhood cemetery.

The funeral was attended by the martyr's fiancee Pınar Öztürk, Aydın Governor Osman Varol, AK Party Aydın deputies Mustafa Savaş and Ömer Özmen, YENİ Party Aydın Deputy Evrim Karakoz, Provincial Police Chief Faruk Karaduman, political party representatives, military men and citizens.
