Minister Memişoğlu: We are establishing our domestic ultrasound device production facility

Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, in his post on NSosyal, stated that they visited Samsung Medison, one of the leading companies in medical imaging technologies, in South Korea, where they had official contacts.

Stating that they evaluated the artificial intelligence-supported ultrasound systems and production processes within the scope of their ongoing cooperation, Memişoğlu said:

"We are now at an important stage in our ultrasound devices, which we started to produce with the technology transfer we started last year. During our visit, we had a productive meeting regarding our domestic production capacity with the production facility to be established in our country. We will bring this critical technology to our country by producing our devices, from monitors to probes, from software to hardware, in our own facility with at least 71 percent locality rate."

Memişoğlu stated that they will continue to work for a Türkiye that develops, produces and builds its technology with the vision of "Productive Health".
