Minister Memişoğlu: We will start mass production on the domestic heart-liver machine

Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, who met with health reporters at the Istanbul Branch of International Health Services Inc. (USHAŞ), said that Türkiye's health system is one of the sources of pride of the country, and that there has been a great development process in health in Türkiye, especially in the last 25 years.

Stating that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has shown all his support to provide a human-oriented health service, Memişoğlu noted that it is important to have good health workers in providing good health services.

Memişoğlu stated that today, Türkiye has become a country where everyone can easily access health, has a very strong social side, and can also use technology, and said, "Today, more than 3 million people come to Türkiye to receive health care. The countries around us are trying to take our health care as an example, they want support from us. We are able to help many countries."

Stating that health reporters are important for the "Protecting, Developing and Producing" health model to achieve its goal, Memişoğlu said, "Each of you is a health professional as much as we are. Because whatever we do as physicians and managers in health, it is your news that will make it known and increase the culture and awareness of the society."

Kemal Memişoğlu stated that they published the Regulation on the Presentation and Coordination of Home Health and Palliative Care Services and defined "palliative critical care service", and that they integrated home health, remote health and palliative care services and created a command center called Home Health Services Coordination Center (ESKOM).

Stating that with this legislation, they will make remote care of patients who are in long hospital stays and who can stay at home much more effective, Memişoğlu said that as the society gets older and the family gets smaller, they created this model for the care and health services of the elderly and included the family doctor in this system.
