Montella era in the National Team has ended

Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Board of Directors meeting in Riva today.

One of the agenda items of the meeting was about the future of National Team Coach Vincenzo Montella.

At the Board of Directors meeting, it was decided not to continue with Montella. Thus ended the Vincenzo Montella era.

While the reign of Vincenzo Montella, who took over the head of the National Football Team on September 21, 2023, lasted 3 years, the national team played 40 matches with the Italian coach.

Vincenzo Montella, who played 40 matches, 31 of which were official and 9 private, as the head of the star-crescent team, attracted attention with the number of victories.

The number of victories of the national team, which achieved 21 victories under Montella's management, exceeded the total number of draws and defeats.

With the Italian coach, the national team lost 14 times to its rivals and drew 5 matches.

While the National Football Team enjoyed scoring goals 66 times in these matches, it conceded 57 goals.
