'Not what a captain should be' - the debate around Fernandes' outburst

Bruno Fernandes' comments after Manchester United's humbling by Como have got fans and pundits talking - but what now for the captain?

United's 4-1 Champions League defeat in Italy was the result of a wretched performance and Fernandes questioned boss Michael Carrick's tactics.

"It's a decision from the staff to not press man-to-man and sometimes leave space behind and try to get the ball, but sometimes when you give too much the ball to these teams they get confidence," said the Portugal attacking midfielder on TNT Sports.

Asked if Carrick got his tactics wrong, the 32-year-old continued: "That's on the manager and staff to see it, not me."
