Transfer ban statement from Fenerbahçe
In the statement made by the yellow-dark blue club, it was stated that there was a need to inform the public about the news in the press regarding the FIFA transfer ban.
In the statement, it was stated that the sanction applied was related to the transfer fee of Youssef En-Nesyri, who joined the squad in the 2024-2025 season, and the following statements were made:
"Due to the non-payment of the transfer installment dated 30 April 2026 regarding the player's transfer fee, the relevant club took action before FIFA, and our management paid the delayed installment after taking office. In the lawsuit filed by the relevant club before FIFA, payment of the next installment was requested, and we waited for the FIFA decision for payment. Our club will make the payment decided by the FIFA decision on the first working day (Monday) and after the completion of the bureaucratic procedures at FIFA, the transfer will be made." The ban will be lifted."
The statement also noted that all financial statements and liabilities regarding the past period of the club will be shared transparently with congress members and the public at the Ordinary General Assembly to be held tomorrow (September 27).
