With UHDS, citizens can receive psychological support and smoking cessation support from their homes.
The Ministry has implemented an important digital application to facilitate citizens' access to preventive health services.
With the system that has started to be implemented in healthy life centers (SHM), citizens can meet with experts remotely.
Samsun Health Directorate Public Health Services Head Dr. Hatice Öz introduced the system to journalists.
Öz said that with the new application, citizens can make appointments for healthy life centers via the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS).
Pointing out that citizens who make an appointment can have a video call with experts from where they are, without having to go to HLCs, Öz emphasized that patients can receive consultancy services from their own homes in Samsun, where the application started.
Explaining that those who cannot come to HLCs or do not have time can make an appointment for psychological support, smoking cessation clinic and social support services through MHRS, Öz said:
"On the date of the appointment, he can connect via the link sent to him and complete his face-to-face meeting with the relevant friend. By logging in with the e-Government password for HLCs via MHRS, seeing the appointments we have opened, checking the hours and pressing the remote evaluation button, an appointment can be made. When the appointment time comes, a link will be sent to both parties, both the officer in the healthy life center and the person. By using those links, the connection is established and the meeting is held."
