A 16-year-old unsolved murder in Kahramanmaraş has been solved

The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the baby, who was found in an empty field in Kahramanmaraş's Onikişubat district on December 9, 2010, was evaluated as having died as a result of covering his mouth and nose in the autopsy examination.

Under the coordination of Kahramanmaraş Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the file was re-examined by Kahramanmaraş Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch Directorate teams.

Within the scope of the studies, a list of a total of 8 thousand 369 people, created in line with the information obtained from hospitals across Kahramanmaraş, was examined.

As a result of the field studies and evaluations carried out in the region where the baby is located; suspect R.Ş., his wife İ.Ş. and her mother-in-law D.Ş. caught. In the statement taken within the scope of the investigation, R.Ş. admitted that because the baby was a girl and because of the pressure from her mother-in-law, she wrapped the baby in a piece of cloth and left it in the empty land near her house immediately after birth.

R.Ş., one of the suspects referred to the judicial authorities. was arrested. WORK. A judicial control decision was given against him.
