BIST 100 index closes the day with a rise BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul

While the BIST 100 index increased by 367.56 points compared to the previous closing, the total transaction volume was 119.8 billion lira.

The banking index gained 1.83 percent and the holding index gained 2.81 percent.

Among the sector indices, the biggest gainer was tourism with 4.59 percent, and the only loser was financial leasing factoring with 5.29 percent.

Analysts stated that the real sector confidence index and manufacturing industry capacity utilization rate will be followed in the country tomorrow, while the foreign trade balance in Japan and inflation in the UK will be followed abroad tomorrow, and noted that technically, 11,900 and 12,000 points in the BIST 100 index are in a resistance position, while 11,600 and 11,500 points are in a support position.
