Cevdet Yılmaz: Interim payments up to 1 million lira will start on Friday

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz participated in the discussions on the 2027 Central Government Budget Law Proposal and the 2025 Central Government Final Account Law Proposal in the Planning and Budget Commission.

Regarding the regulation to be made in the salaries of retirees, Vice President Yılmaz said, "We will make all our efforts to ensure that our retirees have better conditions with an approach that considers fairness and justice, and we will use our means in this direction."

"Payments of up to 1 million liras related to the extraordinary liquidation will begin on Friday through İş Bank and Ziraat Bank. As of October 23, 68 billion liras have been paid to a total of 93 funds and 71 thousand 899 accounts. These processes are continuing."

Cevdet Yılmaz continued his statements as follows:

"While poverty indicators decreased and income distribution improved, Türkiye increased its social expenditures and strengthened its status as a social state."
