Condolence message from Türkiye to Spain

The Ministry made a written statement regarding the train accident that occurred in Spain.

In the statement, it was stated that we were deeply saddened by the loss of life in the train accident that occurred near the city of Toledo, Spain, and said, "We offer our condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives and the people of Spain, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured." expressions were used.

The statement also stated that, according to current information, no Turkish citizens died in the accident and the developments were closely followed by the Turkish Embassy in Madrid.

It was reported that 64 people died and many people were injured in the accident in which two passenger trains operating between Madrid and Andalusia in Spain collided.

Due to the accident, train services between Madrid, Ciudad Real and Andalusia were temporarily stopped.
