Corruption investigation into Bakırköy Municipality: 39 arrests

The investigation initiated by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the allegation that public damage occurred as a result of criminal irregularities in the tender files regarding the purchase of goods and services made by the Bakırköy Municipality continues.

39 of the suspected suspects, including the deputy mayors Abdülhamit Pehlivan, Arda Karadağ, Nurcan Alan, Ali Rıza Akyüz, Cemalettin Özdemir, were arrested within the scope of the investigation, and 24 people were released, 18 of whom were released on condition of judicial control.
