Defense and aerospace exports exceeded 1.1 billion dollars in October

Presidency Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün stated that defense and aerospace exports continue to increase.

Görgün stated that exports in October reached 1 billion 140 million dollars, an increase of 61 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, and that exports of 8 billion 50 million dollars were realized in the January-October period, with an increase of 21 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Görgün noted that exports increased by 37 percent in the last 12 months and reached 11 billion 357 million dollars. Görgün made the following evaluations:

"Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are carrying our national technologies to international markets and improving the production and export capacity of our defense industry. I would like to thank my colleagues, companies, engineers, technicians and all stakeholders in our ecosystem who contributed to this success."
