Noting that it is of great importance for the United Nations, which was established to protect global peace and security, to have a more effective and fair structure in line with its founding principles in the face of today's crises and humanitarian challenges, Duran said:

"Ongoing conflicts in different parts of the world, especially the human tragedy in Gaza, clearly show that the international system needs to be reconsidered with a more inclusive, strong and solution-oriented approach. As Turkey, under the leadership of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will continue to contribute to the construction of a more just international order with the understanding of "The world is bigger than five" and to be the defender of peace, justice and human dignity."
