Directorate of Communications will organize the Turkish World Dialogue Forum

According to the statement made by the Directorate of Communications, an international forum titled "Turkish World Dialogue Forum" will be held in Ankara on 30-31 October by the Presidential Directorate of Communications, on the margins of the 13th TDT Summit to be hosted by Türkiye on 29-30 October in Ankara.

The forum, which will be held with the theme "From Idea to Dialogue, Forward", will create an inclusive platform to strengthen the cultural interaction and common memory between the peoples of the Turkic world and to increase cooperation in the fields of media, communication and publishing between TDT member and observer countries.

The forum will simultaneously include panel sessions, round table meetings, various culture-art events and exhibitions. Within the scope of the forum, it is envisaged to evaluate the potential of the Turkish world in political, economic, social and various strategic areas and to address their common goals.

In this context, the role of parliamentary diplomacy, the representation and effectiveness of women in diplomacy, public administration, media and civil society, and the strategic priorities and geopolitical position of the Turkish world in the changing global order will be evaluated.

The energy resources of the Turkish world, its potential to become a transportation and trade line between Asia and Europe, cooperation opportunities in the field of defense industry and increasing social welfare through joint development projects will be discussed.

In addition, the current situation in the fields of media and communication in the Turkish world, strengthening strategic communication capacity, combating disinformation, artificial intelligence, opportunities for creating joint publishing platforms and media initiatives will also be on the agenda. In addition, the common language and memory of the Turkish world, its cultural accumulation and artistic heritage, the protection and strengthening of the family institution and the current situation of the Turkish diaspora will be evaluated.

Finally, the establishment of a common knowledge and thought ecosystem among universities, think tanks and research centers in the Turkish world and the development of Turkey-Uzbekistan relations and future cooperation opportunities within the framework of TDT will be discussed.

The Turkic World Dialogue Forum, which will continue for two days, is expected to create an interdisciplinary dialogue environment by bringing together senior bureaucrats, communication and media professionals, academics, think tanks, and names operating in the fields of science, culture and art from the Turkic world on the same platform.
