Double penalty for companies that continue misleading advertisements

In the written statement made by the Ministry of Commerce, it was stated that "Our first warning penalty to the institution that tried to mislead the citizens in the housing advertisement was 28 thousand 620 TL. The warning was ignored, so we increased the second penalty to 57 thousand 240 TL. The penalty rate we will impose on the institutions that continue to mislead the citizens will continue to increase arithmetically. The same company will be obliged to pay twice the previous penalty for each new violation."

The statement also stated, "There is no concession to those who try to attract customers by misleading our citizens. As the Ministry of Commerce, we inspect, detect and impose sanctions. May our citizens be of peace; we are following up on this matter."
