Global markets tend to recover Global pi
Risk appetite, which decreased last week due to concerns about accelerating inflation in the USA, geopolitical risks in the Middle East and the sustainability of investments in artificial intelligence companies, increased slightly at the beginning of the new week. It was seen that the search for balance came to the fore in the markets after the sharp declines in the shares of artificial intelligence-related companies last week.
While positive expectations regarding the balance sheets of important companies to be announced in the USA this week and the decline in bond interest rates in the country gave the markets a breath of fresh air, index futures contracts in the USA had a positive start to the week.
Analysts reported that there is no critical data to guide the markets in the USA this week, but the monetary policy decisions of global central banks, including the US Federal Reserve (Fed), will be closely followed next week.
Analysts stated that expectations that the Fed will keep the policy rate constant at its next week's meeting remain strong in the pricing in the money markets, and noted that within the framework of current pricing, it is almost certain that the bank will increase the interest rate by 25 basis points in December.
In addition, the balance sheets of important companies in the USA to be announced this week have become the focus of investors. The leading sectoral Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data for October, which will be announced worldwide, and the financial results of the US technology company Meta and the US electric car manufacturer Tesla, which will be published on Wednesday, are expected.
Recalling that his country presented its 7-stage, 7-day plan in New York, Erakçi said, "The US side conveyed its views on the 7-day plan and we are examining it. Iran's plan is still on the table." he said.
Accordingly, while a retreat was observed in oil prices, the barrel price of December term Brent oil started the new week with a decrease of 1.9 percent at 107.8 dollars.
