Half of Us Campaign extended for 1 year Accelerate urban transformation in Istanbul

The duration of the "Half is on Us" support, which came into force by the Presidential Decree on February 22, 2024 to accelerate urban transformation in Istanbul, has been extended until December 31, 2027.

Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, stated the following in his post on his social media account:

"We have no time to waste for Istanbul. We must carry out the transformation for a city that is resistant to all disasters. Our Half of It is on Us campaign is a very good opportunity for this. Our decision to extend the period was published in the Official Gazette, the new deadline is December 31, 2027. Do not postpone. Compromise. Have your building identified as a risky structure, let's start your transformation process. Let's make Istanbul safe together."

Within the scope of the Half of It is on Us Campaign, which came into force with the Presidential Decree on February 22, 2024, to accelerate urban transformation in Istanbul, 1 million 875 thousand lira support is given to citizens to rebuild their houses, including 875 thousand lira grant, 875 thousand lira loan and 125 thousand lira evacuation support.

Under the same conditions, a grant of 437 thousand 500 lira, a loan of 437 thousand 500 lira and a relocation support of 125 thousand lira are provided for a shop or workplace of the beneficiary, while a loan of 875 thousand lira is offered for each other shop of the beneficiary.

In large area-based site-like transformations, TOKİ or Emlak Konut construction undertakes. In this model, 875 thousand lira grant support and 125 thousand lira relocation support are provided for each beneficiary. The grant amount is deducted from the building cost, and the remaining debt is paid in installments with suitable long-term payment terms.
