Head of Communications Duran: The Mecca Agreement prioritizes security and solidarity

Director of Communications Burhanettin Duran made a statement on his NSosyal account regarding the submission of the bill regarding the approval of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement signed between Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Stating that the presentation of the bill to the Turkish Grand National Assembly is an important step towards the institutionalization of strategic cooperation between the three brother countries, Duran said:

"This strategic partnership developed between our countries aims to strengthen collective deterrence, increase common capabilities in the field of defense and maintain security and stability in our region. The Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, which is based on the regional countries assuming responsibility for the issues of the region, is the manifestation of a common will that prioritizes security and solidarity. I hope that the approval process in the Turkish Grand National Assembly will be beneficial for our country and our brother countries Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and I would like to thank all the parties and MPs who have already contributed."
