Heavy rain and storm warning from Minister Çiftçi

In his post on his NSosyal account, Minister Çiftçi stated that, according to the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the rains in Istanbul today are expected to be locally strong and very strong and severe in the afternoon.

Stating that very strong and heavy showers are expected locally in Yalova, Kocaeli and Sakarya, and strong and very heavy showers are expected in Bursa and Bilecik surroundings, Çiftçi stated that locally strong showers are expected in Antalya, Burdur and Isparta surroundings, and very strong showers are expected in places in the east of Antalya.

Çiftçi noted that heavy showers are expected in the east of Izmir, Aydın and Manisa, in the west of Denizli, Uşak, Kütahya, Konya and in the following hours around Afyonkarahisar and Eskişehir.

Stating that very strong and heavy showers are expected locally in the northern districts of Zonguldak, Bartın, Düzce and Kastamonu, Çiftçi stated that strong and very heavy showers are expected in Muğla surroundings, and locally strong showers are expected in Çankırı, Kırıkkale and Bolu.

Çiftçi stated that today it is estimated that the wind will blow strong and stormy in the Western Mediterranean, the inner parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea and the west of Eastern Anatolia.

Stating that a storm is expected in the north of the Anatolian Side of Istanbul and around Kocaeli and Sakarya, Çiftçi noted that a strong storm is predicted in Düzce, Zonguldak and Bartın after the night hours, and in the north of Kastamonu, Sinop around and the inner parts of Samsun as of tomorrow morning.

Çiftçi stated that strong winds and storms are expected tomorrow in Bolu, Karabük, Çankırı, Çorum and Tokat surroundings, the north of Amasya, the inner parts of Ordu and the central and southern parts of Kastamonu.

Mustafa Çiftçi stated that strong winds and storms are predicted in Hakkari surroundings, the south of Van, and the east of Siirt and Şırnak, and that heavy showers are expected in Karabük surroundings.
