Home Care Allowance payments to be deposited into the accounts

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they started to deposit a total of 7.8 billion liras of Home Care Assistance into the accounts of beneficiaries this month in order to provide economic support to fully dependent citizens and their families who are cared for at home.

Minister Göktaş emphasized that Home Care Assistance is an important family-oriented care service that has been implemented since 2006 to support disabled individuals primarily in the family environment and said, "We see it as a priority for our disabled citizens to receive home care services by preserving their family integrity. With this assistance, we support the preservation and strengthening of family unity by living with the family or relatives of disabled people without leaving their living environment."

Reminding that 15 thousand 755 liras are paid per beneficiary per month within the scope of Home Care Assistance, Minister Göktaş said:

"This month, we started to deposit Home Care Assistance payments totaling 7.8 billion liras to the accounts for fully dependent citizens and their families who are cared for at home. Currently, 492 thousand of our citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance. I hope the payments will be beneficial to all our disabled citizens and their families."
