Illegal perishable food transport 1

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's "Regulation on Amendments to the Regulation on Special Equipment to be Used in the Transportation of Perishable Foodstuffs" was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.

With the regulation, administrative fines to be imposed on those who do not comply with the rules regarding the transportation of perishable food items have been rearranged.

Accordingly, an administrative fine of 12 thousand 758 liras will be imposed on the holder of the ATP Operating Authorization Certificate and the approval body within the scope of the "Agreement on International Transportation of Perishable Foodstuffs and Special Equipment to be Used in These Transportation Activities", which violate the transportation rules.

If the special transportation equipment used in the transportation of perishable foods does not comply with the legislation, and if a situation contrary to the regulation is detected in the centers and approval body holding the ATP Operating Authorization Certificate, an administrative fine of 12 thousand 758 liras will be imposed.

The fines in question were previously imposed as 2 thousand liras.
