Kurtulmuş: TRT and AA's work turned the propaganda mechanism upside down

"Anadolu Agency News Awards Ceremony" was organized by Anadolu Agency (AA) at the Parliament Ceremony Hall under the auspices of the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Kurtulmuş.

In his speech at the opening of the ceremony, which was held for the second time this year, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, expressed his satisfaction with the second edition of AA's news awards and said, "We are organizing a wide variety of programs in this hall. Among these programs, the news award program organized by Anadolu Agency undoubtedly has a privileged place. We did the first one last year, and we are doing the second one this year. If it is possible to organize the third one next year, it will mean that this work has become a tradition and I hope it will continue for a long time. Anadolu Agency's valuable "I wholeheartedly congratulate our managers, our Head of Communications and all our friends who contributed," he said.

Drawing attention to the importance of the journalism profession, Kurtulmuş said that one of the basic issues that are indispensable for this profession is the pursuit of truth and reality. Kurtulmuş said, "Neither reporting nor journalism can be done without pursuing the truth."

Underlining that one should never give up on performing selfless and self-sacrificing work, Kurtulmuş said, "It is probably one of the most basic mottos of a journalist to be sleepless when necessary, to go through difficult journeys when necessary, to deal with pressure environments when necessary, but to never give up self-sacrificing efforts to reveal the truth. It is also one of the professional principles and fundamental principles of journalism."

Kurtulmuş stated that it is necessary to act with a sense of dedication and carry out courageous activities to reveal the truth and reality, and emphasized that if one of these is missing, it will not be possible to talk about fully successful journalism.

Drawing attention to the efforts made by TRT and AA in recent years, especially in announcing the human tragedies in Gaza and the genocide of the Zionist regime to the world, Kurtulmuş said, "The great efforts of TRT and Anadolu Agency, Türkiye's two main journalism elements, to truly reveal the truth have turned the extremely powerful Zionist propaganda mechanism upside down, which is probably incomparable on a global scale."

Pointing out that the influence of the Zionist regime and the global Zionist journalism mechanism in the world today is incomparable with any other group, Kurtulmuş continued his words as follows:

"I'm speaking in a human sense, but the power that comes from the truth itself, from being right, is above everything else. A saying that the ancients repeat very often: 'The truth is superior. No one can ever prevail over the right, the just.' Therefore, the activities of our messenger brothers and friends in Palestine to suppress the truth, carried out at the expense of their lives, have destroyed Israel's global-scale Zionist propaganda mechanism and revealed the facts that it tried to cover up. For this reason, I congratulate all Palestinian journalists and all Palestine-friendly journalists who support the Palestinian cause in the world, and I wish God's mercy on the martyrs."
