MHP Chairman Bahçeli, Azerbaijan's independence

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli published a message on the occasion of "Azerbaijan's 18 October Restoration of Independence Day".

In his message, he said, "Happy 'Freedom of Independence Day' to our brother and friend country, which once again proclaimed its sovereignty and freedom to the whole world with the Constitutional Act on the State Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, adopted on October 18, 1991." Bahçeli congratulated the 35th anniversary of this meaningful day with his most sincere feelings.

Noting that Azerbaijan's "Restoration of Independence Day" is not only the rebirth of a state, but also the expression of the noble stance of a nation that does not accept captivity and does not bow down to it, Bahçeli stated that Azerbaijan gave a new meaning and strength to its national independence with the Karabakh Victory between 27 September and 10 November 2020.

"Once raised, the flag never comes down again." Stating that the expression is the essence of Azerbaijan's idea of ​​independence, Bahçeli said, "Azerbaijan's joy is our joy, its sorrow is our sorrow." He stated that his statement was a concrete statement of Türkiye's feelings towards a friendly and brotherly country.
