Minister Çiftçi met with Turkish citizens in Brussels Minister of Internal Affairs Musta
In his post on his social media account, Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi stated that they were happy to meet with Turkish citizens living in Europe after their official contacts in Brussels.
Stating that they performed the afternoon prayer at Fatih Mosque and chatted with the community over tea, Çiftçi said that they visited tradesmen and met with citizens.
Çiftçi stated that they later visited the Hijra Mosque affiliated with the Islamic Society National Vision Belgian Islamic Federation (BIF) and said:
"We met with our youth and children, sipping our Emirdağ thyme tea and breathing the air of our country in Brussels. We felt the same bond of love in the smile of a child, in the prayer of an elder, and in the warmth of a glass of tea. Even though the geographies are different, our love is the same and our hearts are one. I would like to thank all our brothers and sisters who welcomed us sincerely and convey my greetings and affection to each of them."
