Minister Çiftçi: Our headmen are our state's leaders in the field.

Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi celebrated muhtars' day in his speech at the Mukhtars' Day Meeting held at the Presidential Complex with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Stating that in the state tradition, being a headman is one of the most deep-rooted and valuable institutions of the bond of love between the nation and the state, Çiftçi said that headmen are self-sacrificing service people who worry about the problems of their neighborhood, know the needs of their village, and convey the demands of the citizens to the state.

Çiftçi emphasized that, under the leadership of President Erdoğan, historical steps have been taken to strengthen the institution of mukhtars, improve the working conditions of muhtars and enable them to have a more effective position in the state administration, and said, "Especially your hosting of our muhtars at the Presidential Complex, your direct contact with them and your close attention to their demands are one of the strongest manifestations of the strong bond you have established with our nation. Thanks to the value you give to our muhtars, the reputation you have given to the muhtar organization and the strong support you have provided." We express our gratitude to your dignitaries." he said.

Stating that the Türkiye Century vision put forward by President Erdoğan is the road map of the state's will to provide better service to the nation with all its institutions, Çiftçi said:

Under your leadership, we will continue to strengthen our national unity, strengthen our bond of brotherhood, and make peace and trust prevail in every corner of our country, in line with our goal of a Terror-Free Turkey. As the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with our governors, district governors, headmen and all our personnel, we will continue our work with a service approach that reaches every individual of our nation, cures the problems of our citizens, and makes the compassion and mercy of our state feel in every household. Dear President, under your leadership, we will continue to walk towards our Türkiye Century goals with the same determination and excitement, knowing the prayers of our nation as our greatest source of energy."
