President Erdoğan met with US President Trump
While the developments in the Strait of Hormuz and Yemen were discussed on diplomatic grounds during the meeting, it was stated that Türkiye was ready to support the efforts to end the Ukraine-Russia war. In addition, Trump congratulated President Erdoğan and the Turkish people on the Republic Day and wished the Organization of Turkic States Summit to be successful.

President Erdoğan stated that, as the Mecca Joint Defense Alliance, they are closely following the developments in the Strait of Hormuz and Yemen, and that efforts are being made to solve the problem on the basis of diplomacy.
