President Erdogan speaks

Highlights from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's speech are as follows:

May God have mercy on the 3 miners who lost their lives in the explosion in Zonguldak. May God have mercy on our soldier who was martyred in a military vehicle accident in Ankara. May God rest our martyr in peace.

We have just concluded the 74th meeting of our cabinet. We discussed many issues in our meeting. As the government, we continue to keep our country on the trajectory of stability and development during a period of increasing instability in our region. We know that our citizens, regardless of their views and origins, are meticulous in preserving this environment of peace and stability, and I thank you for that. As Türkiye, we are fighting sincerely with all our means against those who pour fuel on the fire in our geography with expansionist ambitions, to extinguish this fire, relieve the suffering, and stop the bloodshed. The course of the world shows that preserving the environment of peace and stability in our country will become more important for Türkiye in the coming period.

We continue to defend the rights of our brothers and compatriots wherever they are. We strive to establish friendly relations with almost every country. Since our last meeting, we have witnessed issues that have expanded Türkiye's sphere of influence.

We will celebrate the 103rd anniversary of our Republic with great enthusiasm. We will open Beştepe National Forest to the use of our people. We will host TDT in Ankara on Friday. We will once again give a message of unity and solidarity. Then, if possible, we will visit South Korea. Then we will organize the COP31 Summit in Antalya.
