President Erdoğan talked on the phone with French President Macron

The Directorate of Communications announced that President Erdoğan spoke on the phone with French President Macron.

During the meeting, Erdoğan and Macron discussed Türkiye-France bilateral relations and regional and global issues.

During the meeting, where the process of determining the new Secretary General of the United Nations was also evaluated, President Erdoğan stated that the new Secretary General should have a vision and experience that can make the UN the center of multilateralism again and effectively implement the necessary reforms.

President Erdoğan also invited French President Macron to the COP31 Leaders Summit to be held in Turkey. Macron also congratulated President Erdoğan on Republic Day.
