President Erdogan: There is no room for separation and illegitimacy in the Turkish world

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the TDT 13th Summit Council of Heads of State Meeting at the Presidential Complex.

Highlights of President Erdogan's statements:

Heads of State, Mr. Secretary General, esteemed delegation members; I greet you wholeheartedly and with affection. On the occasion of the 10th summit of our Organization of Turkic States, I am very happy to host you, my dear brothers and sisters, in Ankara. Welcome, all of you, you brought the sides.

The Turkish States Organization Civilization Park, which we opened yesterday, has further deepened the unity between us with your special gifts. The family photo we gave yesterday and today has been a symbol of both our loyalty to our past and our will to build our common future together.

Dear brothers and sisters, we determined the theme of our summit as' Turkish Century: Unity in Language, Idea, Here 'with the inspiration of the late Gaspiralı İsmail Bey. In our opinion, unity in language is to maintain and develop our common treasure and to be able to understand each other without intermediaries. Unity of opinion is to unite around common goals and develop a common strategy. Unity, on the other hand, is the ability to turn our words into action, our will into work, and our decisions into results.

With this understanding, as Turkey, we are taking over the chairmanship of our organization from Azerbaijan today. I would like to convey my congratulations to our Azerbaijani brothers on behalf of our organization for their efforts during their presidency.

Hopefully, in our presidency, we aim to bond the institutional accumulation that our organization has created so far to more concrete gains. We say that we should make progress in areas such as spreading the common language in a way that strengthens our brotherhood ties, supporting cultural activities, especially sports, and facilitating travel between our countries.

While building the future of the Turkish world, we attach importance to strengthening the family institution and supporting the role of women in our societies. I am very pleased that the High Honor Board of the Family and Women's Council held its first meeting under the auspices of my wife Emine Erdoğan.
