Private doctor Demirkol appears before the judge in the case regarding Denizolgun's suspicious death

The detained defendant Nurettin Demirkol and the defendant's lawyers attended the hearing at Bakırköy 6th Criminal Court of First Instance.

In the indictment prepared by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that Denizolgun was found dead in his farm in Beykoz on September 7, 2016, and that an investigation was being carried out for the crime of "intentional murder" in this context.

In the indictment, it was stated that within the scope of the investigation, the defendant Nurettin Demirkol, who worked as an internal medicine specialist in a hospital and was the victim's private doctor on the date of the incident, said in his statement taken by the prosecutor's office as a "witness" on August 26, that he was not the victim's private doctor, that he did not see blood on the victim's face and body when he went to the farm, and that he did not consider the death of the victim as suspicious.

In the indictment, it was emphasized that according to the 155 emergency call notification resolution report attached to the August 31 letter of the Riva Police Station, the defendant Demirkol called the police, contrary to the witness statement, introduced himself as the family doctor and said that there was a suspicious death.

Police officer Z.G. arrived at the scene. and examination officer E.T., in the witness statements, the defendant introduced himself as a private doctor and said that he found the death suspicious. In the crime scene investigation and death examination report in the investigation file of the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that in the statement of the defendant Demirkol, blood was leaking from the right side of the victim's mouth and wetting the pillow, and the expert doctor stated that the face of the victim was bloody and blood was still flowing from his mouth.
