Republic Day message from Aliyev to President Erdoğan

Azerbaijani President Aliyev sent a congratulatory message to President Erdoğan on the occasion of October 29 Republic Day.

In his message, which started with the words "my dear brother", Aliyev congratulated President Erdoğan and the Turkish people on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan on the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

"Azerbaijan and Turkey are united by true friendship and brotherhood ties that have passed the tests of history. With the Shusha Declaration, which we signed with you in 2021, the relations between our countries have reached the highest level, the level of alliance, and have gained a new content and meaning in terms of quality," Ilham Aliyev said in his message.

Wishing Erdogan health, happiness and success, Aliyev wished peace and prosperity to the Republic of Türkiye and its people.
