Second railway vehicle exports to Tanzania in a year, previously exported to Tanzania

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Türkiye Rail System Vehicles Industry Inc. He gave information about 100 Sggmrs type freight wagons to be produced by (TÜRASAŞ) to be exported to Tanzania.

Uraloğlu emphasized that 100 Sggmrs type freight wagons to be exported to Tanzania will be produced in TÜRASAŞ Sivas Regional Directorate, thus the production capacity of the said province will be utilized for export.

Referring to the technical features of the freight wagons to be exported, Uraloğlu said:

"Our Sggmrs type freight wagons will have a carrying capacity of 109 tons. Our wagons, which have 6 axles and are approximately 21 meters long, will be produced suitable for the transportation of containers of different lengths. We will contribute to Tanzania's railway freight transportation with the wagons we will produce."
