Support will be expanded in the marriage support project

According to the compilation made from the "2027 Presidential Annual Program", the Ministry of Family and Social Services gave interest-free loans to 102 thousand 327 newly married couples as of August 2026, within the scope of the "Family and Youth Fund", which aims to support young people who will get married.

As of January this year, the loan support offered by the Support Project for Young People Getting Married within the scope of the fund was increased to 250 thousand liras if both spouses are between the ages of 18-25, and to 200 thousand liras if at least one of the spouses is between the ages of 26-29.

The Ministry will continue its work to strengthen the family institution and support young people's family formation processes.

In this context, it is aimed to make the Supporting Young People Getting Married Project more inclusive.

Next year, improvements will be made to the implementation principles of the project to ensure that young people in the low and middle income group benefit from the project.

On the other hand, the content of education and consultancy services for families will be diversified and expanded in cooperation with public institutions, universities and non-governmental organizations.

Studies will be carried out to improve family counseling services and increase specialization in guidance and counseling services offered to family members.

In addition, research will be conducted on the basic problems underlying divorce and services to support families will be developed.
