According to the statement made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the meeting, a meeting was held with the participation of Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, where the activities of the Inspection Board towards stray animals were discussed.

At the meeting, where the studies carried out on stray animals and the latest situation in the field were evaluated, a presentation was made by the Chairman of the Inspection Board, Yavuz Selim Akkoç, on the studies carried out on stray animals.

Speaking about the work carried out in the field by the Inspection Board, Minister Çiftçi said, "They saw on the spot whether stray animals were collected properly. It was a good study on whether their care, neutering, treatment, adoption and care were carried out properly." he said.

The current situation regarding the target numbers for the collection of stray animals and the work carried out in the provinces were also evaluated at the meeting.

At the meeting, the studies in the provinces where food production facilities were established to transform waste nutrients into animal feed were evaluated. The practices carried out in the provinces towards stray animals and the stage reached in the process were among the topics discussed at the meeting.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Çelik, Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry Ahmet Gümen and Abdülkadir Polat, General Director of Nature Conservation and National Parks Kadir Çokçetin, Head of Guidance and Inspection Yusuf Erkan Özçelik, AK Party Istanbul Deputy Müşerref Pervin Tuba Durgut, AK Party Istanbul Deputy Nimet Özdemir and Provincial Administration General Director Mehmet Emin Bilmez attended the meeting.
