Temperatures are falling across the country, rain is coming

Today, while rainfall is expected throughout the country, "heavy" rainfall will be seen in Muğla and its surroundings, and "very heavy" rainfall will be seen in the Western Mediterranean, especially Antalya. While the speed of the strong wind blowing from the north in the Marmara and Aegean regions is expected to reach up to 70 kilometers per hour, southwest winds will be effective in the passage of Central and Eastern Anatolia, and dust will be transported throughout Southeastern Anatolia.

The rainy system will expand its area of ​​influence tomorrow and affect almost the entire country, including Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. While the heavy rain warning continues on the Mediterranean and Southern Aegean coasts, temperatures will drop in the central and western regions. The night temperature in the capital Ankara will drop to 9 degrees.

Rain will continue uninterrupted throughout the country on Thursday, when Republic Day will be celebrated. While heavy showers are expected especially in the Mediterranean coastline and the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia, the cool weather will make its effect felt in Marmara with the harsh north wind.

On Friday, the system will continue to affect the eastern and northern regions; Although there will be a short break in the rainfall in the Southern Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, temperatures will drop to 16 degrees in Ankara and 12 degrees in Erzurum.

At the end of the week, the cool weather will give way to the night frost. The lowest temperature at night in Erzurum is expected to drop to zero degrees on Saturday. Although there will be partly cloudy weather in the eastern parts on Sunday, intermittent showers will continue in the western and northern parts.

The rainy system will gain strength again on Monday, November 2, and will once again cover the entire map of Türkiye from west to east, and the rains will continue to be effective at the beginning of the new week.

Authorities warned that one should be careful and cautious against floods, floods, lightning and storms due to the extreme showers expected throughout the week, especially on the south and west coasts.
