The 2027 target for tourism income is 70 billion dollars

According to the 2027 Presidential Annual Program, studies will be carried out to increase product and market diversity in tourism, strengthen existing markets and reach visitors with high spending tendencies.

Türkiye's tourism revenue increased by 6.8 percent in 2025 compared to the previous year, reaching 65.2 billion dollars, and the number of visitors reached 63.9 million.

At the end of this year, tourism revenue is expected to be 65 billion dollars and the number of visitors is expected to be 63.2 million people. In the same period, the average spending per person is expected to be 1018 dollars, and the average spending per person per night is expected to be 101 dollars.

Next year, tourism revenue is aimed to reach 70 billion dollars and the number of visitors to 66.6 million. The average spending per person is expected to increase to $1036, and the average spending per person per night is expected to increase to $103.

In order to strengthen Türkiye's existing markets in tourism and reach new markets, tourism road maps were prepared for 81 provinces under the coordination of the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA).

As of July, 105 destinations and 64 experiences were promoted through Türkiye's digital promotion platform "goturkiye.com". The platform, which offers content in ten languages, reached 58.5 million unique visitors.

Next year, new themes and destinations will be developed under the umbrella of "GoTürkiye" and promotional activities will continue in digital channels.

Advertising and joint-budget promotional projects will be carried out with tour operators and airline companies for the American and Far Eastern markets.
