The chief prosecutor and deputy chief prosecutors will also participate in judicial affairs.
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, in his statement on his NSosyal account, stated that they have taken determined steps to increase the efficiency of the judiciary and ensure the timely delivery of justice.
Emphasizing that they continue to strengthen the functioning of the judicial organization in order to ensure faster access of citizens to justice services and to prevent delays in investigations and trials, Gürlek stated that they have implemented two important principle decisions as a result of the work carried out by the Board of Judges and Prosecutors.
"In this context, we have determined the principles to ensure the participation of our deputy chief public prosecutors, who work in our chief public prosecutor's offices organized under the criminal courts of first instance, in judicial affairs as well as administrative, surveillance and coordination duties. With these regulations, we aim to benefit more from the knowledge and experience of our experienced chief public prosecutors and deputy chief prosecutors, to distribute the workload among our public prosecutors more evenly and to contribute to the finalization of the files in a reasonable time. "We will continue our citizen-oriented reform steps with determination, because we know that the power of justice is not only in making the right decision, but in making that decision in a timely manner."
