The first interim payment for funds in the liquidation process begins on Friday.

In the statement, it was stated that the liquidation procedures of 27 of the 31 funds belonging to Hedef Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş., whose liquidation payments started with the decision of the CMB, were largely completed as of October 23. In this context, while 27.2 billion TL was paid to 26 thousand 152 accounts, it was noted that work on the remaining 4 funds was continuing. While the number of funds in the liquidation process was reduced from 131 to 38, a total of 68 billion TL liquidation payments were made in kind and cash to 71 thousand 899 eligible accounts.

The new calendar was announced in line with the "Law on Certain Investment Funds Decided to be Liquidated" numbered 7596, which was prepared to eliminate investor grievances and entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated October 27, 2026, and in line with the procedures and principles determined by the CMB.

It was announced that the first interim payments for the funds within the scope of extraordinary liquidation, the processes of which have been clarified by law, are expected to begin on Friday, October 30, 2026.

In the statement, it was stated that the refunds to the beneficiaries continued through the accounts established at SDIF, and regarding the investigation aspect, "MASAK meticulously continues its foreign-related studies on the companies subject to the fund investigation, persons suspected of manipulation, suspicious transactions carried out and the real beneficiaries of the funds." statements were included.

It was reported that structural reforms are also on the agenda in order to prevent similar problems from occurring again. It was stated that the technical work for the new Draft Law, which will be prepared in consultation with sector stakeholders, has been accelerated and that after the text is matured, it will be submitted to the discretion of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).
