The grievance of the neighborhood residents who were left without electricity for 77 hours was resolved
According to KDK's friendly solution decision, there were 70 power outages, 63 of which were unplanned, in a neighborhood of Kütahya in 2025, and 11 power outages, all unplanned, in the first three months of 2026.
A neighborhood resident who suffered due to power outages brought the issue to KDK.
Stating that they were without electricity for approximately 77 hours during this period, the citizen stated that when he conveyed the situation to the authorities, he received a response that the outages were "due to adverse weather conditions, third-party intervention and malfunctions."
Claiming that no concrete, measurable and scheduled solution has been put forward to solve the problem, the citizen noted that constantly recurring outages cannot be considered as a malfunction.
Citizens demanded that the necessary infrastructure improvements be made to ensure the continuity of electricity distribution service.
Upon the application, KDK met with the authorities in order to eliminate the citizens' grievances.
As a result of the discussions, maintenance and renewal works were carried out to reduce the risks of failure in the network, and some equipment was replaced.
It was also informed that a comprehensive investment was envisaged to strengthen the electricity supply structure of the district centre.
