The automotive industry exported products worth 31 billion 144 million 829 thousand dollars in the January-September period.

Exports of "motor vehicles for transporting goods", which constitute 16.6 percent of this figure, increased from 4 billion 787 million 959 thousand dollars to 5 billion 185 million 578 thousand dollars in the January-September period, with an increase of 8.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the January-September period, light commercial vehicles, pickup trucks and trucks were exported to 79 countries, autonomous and free zones.

The country to which the sector exported the most in this product group in the January-September period was the United Kingdom.

In the January-September period last year, 1 billion 1 million 979 thousand dollars of "motor vehicles for transporting goods" were exported to the United Kingdom, and in the same period this year, 1 billion 129 million 955 thousand dollars were exported, with an increase of 12.8 percent.

These exports to the United Kingdom constituted 21.8 percent of the total exports of light commercial vehicles, pickup trucks and trucks in 9 months.

Exports to Germany, which ranks second, increased by 11.4 percent compared to the same period in 2025, from 772 million 860 thousand dollars to 861 million 103 thousand dollars.

Exports to France, which ranks third, in the January-September period increased by 34.5 percent compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 595 million 771 thousand dollars from 442 million 834 thousand dollars.
