Turkish Universities participated in the China Education Fair

At the fair held in Beijing on 30-31 October, T.R. 'Study in Türkiye' pavilion was established, hosted by the Turkish National Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of 52 universities and 2 public institutions.

N. Bilal Erdoğan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Haldun, also visited the 'Study in Türkiye' pavilion at the CEE 2026 Fair, hosted by the Turkish National Agency.

According to information received from the Turkish National Agency, Turkish universities held hundreds of meetings and signed dozens of bilateral and multilateral agreements at EAIE 2026, which is considered one of the most prestigious and comprehensive events in the world.

In 2026, when the 55th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Türkiye and the People's Republic of China was celebrated, Turkish universities appeared in China for the first time with the "Study in Türkiye" brand.

Türkiye; The "Asia Again Initiative" launched in 2019 was represented in line with the vision of internationalization in higher education, "Türkiye Century" targets and multi-faceted and multi-layered foreign policy priorities.

Türkiye's academic capacity, research power and dynamic structure open to cooperation were also demonstrated on the Asian stage.

Pointing out that they participated in the CEE fair with 52 Turkish universities and 2 public institutions under the leadership of the Turkish National Agency and participated in the world's largest higher education fairs, Turkish National Agency President İlker Astarcı stated that they also participated in the fairs held in Hong-Kong, the USA and Scotland.

Stating that they held many meetings and signed international agreements within the scope of CEE, Astarcı gave the message: "We are leaving our mark on the Turkish Century in higher education."
