November payment of 9.6 billion lira to the elderly and disabled

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş said that they are working to ensure the full participation of disabled and elderly individuals in all areas of life and to support them in living independent lives.

Emphasizing that they support elderly and disabled citizens in every field from education to health, from economy to social life, Göktaş stated that they carry out services within the framework of people-oriented and rights-based policies.

Stating that they continue to develop inclusive and regular social assistance programs for disabled and elderly citizens, Göktaş said:

"In this regard, in November, we will make elderly pension payments of 5 billion 435 million lira to 735 thousand 763 citizens and disability pension payments of 4 billion 185 million lira to 557 thousand 771 citizens. In this context, we started to deposit the elderly and disabled pension payments of 1 million 293 thousand 534 citizens, amounting to a total of 9.6 billion lira, to the accounts. I hope the payments will be beneficial to all our citizens."
