Operation against FETO's current structure: 10 detained

Istanbul Police Department Anti-Terrorism Branch Directorate teams, with the support of the Intelligence Branch Directorate, carried out work to decipher the current structure of FETO and capture the suspects.

During the studies, the teams determined that the suspects, who were prosecuted for operating at a responsible level in the previous financial structure of the organization, who used ByLock, whose Bank Asya accounts increased in line with the instructions of the leader of the organization, and who were understood to be so-called state imams, regionalists, regional eunuchs, responsible for regional students, collecting donations and chatting, were reassigned in the current structure.

The teams identified the identities and addresses of the suspects, who tried to obtain financial resources to be transferred to the organization by contacting the people and tradesmen they were responsible for in the past, and caught 10 suspects in a simultaneous operation in Istanbul, Aydın and Izmir.

During the searches at the addresses, Turkish lira, foreign currency and gold with a total value of 12 million 852 thousand lira were seized.

The suspects were taken to the police station for processing.
