Gül, who settled in Elazığ with her son and daughter-in-law after the earthquakes, lived here with the rental support provided by the state. After the earthquake residence built by TOKİ was delivered, he returned to Malatya.

Gül, who lives with her son and daughter-in-law in Çamurlu TOKİ Residences in Battalgazi district, has 7 children and 20 grandchildren.

Gül, who was visited by Malatya Family and Social Services Provincial Director Ömer Faruk Ergün, celebrated the Republic Day with a cake written "103 years old" on it.
