Demands from the domestic and foreign markets for the product, which was registered under the name "Nevşehir Pumpkin Seeds" in 2019 with the initiatives of Nevşehir Commodity Exchange (NTB), enabled farmers to increase the cultivation area.
The cultivation area, which was approximately 160 thousand decares before the registration process, increased every year and reached 405 thousand decares.
Pumpkin seeds harvested from the fields are sorted according to their sizes in local screening facilities and sent domestically and abroad.
