Bonito attracts attention at fish stalls

In addition to bonito, anchovies are sold for 200 liras, salmon for 350 liras, and sea bass and sea bream for 500 liras per kilogram at fishmonger stalls in Ortahisar district.

Fisherman Mehmet Can Örseloğlu said that palumud, which is usually seen with the start of the hunting season, was caught in abundance this year.

Stating that the stalls were adorned with bonito, Örseloğlu said, "There is a bit of a problem with horse mackerel, bluefish and bluefish this year. Hopefully, they will also be there after this. Let's say this is the year we hope for. A bountiful and fruitful season awaits us." he said.

Fisherman Mehmet Ziya Kavzoğlu expressed that they were pleased with the interest of the citizens and said, "There is nothing but bonito anyway. The varieties are few, but bonito is in abundance right now. Thank God, we are managing." he said.

Zeki Erçin, who prefers fish over bonito, noted that the prices are affordable.
